After four months out due to tendonopathy of my left knee, I am finally on the mend. It has been a tough time out of competition with a repeating process of my knee starting to feel better and then it breaking down again. Finally it appears to be on the mend for good. In the end it appears to be Nick Pierce's treatment up at Loughborough University that did the trick. This consisted of blood being taken from my arm and injected into my knee, following a two hour consultation. Around a month later, I had the process repeated to top up the healing. This is a new treatment that is meant to stimulate the healing process that for some reason had been inhibited. I am now back training hard and am aiming to be fit and ready to play Tipton and the other GB tournaments in January.
